Cargostore helps the RNLI
When Rob Goodall heard from an industry source that the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) wished to purchase a used shipping container for static storage at its Teighmouth, Devon, facility, he thought there was an opportunity to assist this very worthy charity. Rob contacted the local office and agreed to supply the unit and to deliver it free of charge. As Rob put it "Cargostore really appreciates the good work of the RNLI. Its activities offshore and in coastal and inland waters of the UK and Ireland are an invaluable safety net to seafarers of all capabilities. Since the RNLI is totally reliant on charitable donations, we welcome the opportunity to support their good work".

Ewan Shinton, Fundraising and Communications Manager, South West of the RNLI advised "I have heard from my volunteer colleagues at Teighmouth RNLI Fundraising Team of your strong and very welcome gesture of support for their work by providing, delivering and siting, a shipping container for their use in developing and storing an enhanced range and quantity of goods which they will be selling to augment the branch revenue."

Ewan continued, "It is a particularly strong and enthusiastic team there, and the encouragement which this generous gesture will give them makes the acquisition of the container even more valuable. On behalf of us all at the charity, I would like to thank you most warmly for responding so very positively to an enquiry, which we could not have envisaged so successful a response. We could not possibly achieve what we do without public support, and yours has been a very fine example of that."
