Cargostore offers intermodal financiers and insurers a range of services which enhances control of equipment fleets.
Whilst the financier can study all the variables known when a new contract is being proposed, a lessee's range of services, areas of operation and contractual partnerships can vary over time. We therefore offer an Ownership Portfolio Management Service to allow the owner to keep abreast of changes, which may affect the security and therefore the underlying value of the equipment. For the lessee, our monitoring brief can supplement in-house management controls and act as an operational audit.
Should refinancing opportunities arise, we can provide an independent valuation of equipment, including units currently in service. We appreciate that the operator's business should not be affected and we take the necessary steps to ensure that our inspections coincide with the lessee's schedule. We use specialist surveyors, where a physical inspection is required, who are fully conversant with the type of equipment under review. |
